Flemish Cycling Centre Eddy Merckx

The Flemish Cycling Centre Eddy Merckx opened officially on February 17, 2006. For the realisation and financing of the project, a co-operation agreement was signed between the Flemish Government, Bloso, the province of East Flanders, the City of Ghent, the Royal Belgian Cycling Union and the Flemish Cycling Union. The national Lottery also supported the initiative. Because of it’s experience and know how in such co-operation agreements, Bloso acted as constructor. The covered cycling track is managed and exploited by Bloso.
